Kidney infections are bad, nearly lost my Fox Terrier few weeks ago, literary within a few short hours he wouldn't have made it, was at the stage of resting his chin on the water bowl and could hardly move, got him to vet and rehydrated him and some antibiotics and within 24 hours he came home and made full recovery in days.
